  • Do you deliver training in your organisation?
  • Are you interested in knowing more about rescue?
  • Would you like to practice the latest rescue techniques?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions then look no further.

The United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) Education Workshops are now available to both non-competitors and non-Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) personnel.

As the national experts in rescue the UKRO is best placed to attain, develop and deliver the latest information and techniques in order to advance professional rescue. Using the latest equipment and procedures, your attendance at any of our Education Workshops, will ensure that you and your organisation improve the delivery of services to the communities you serve.

With both medical and technical Education Workshops available, there is an opportunity for all responders to learn, gather information, establish contacts and train together.

Please refer to the following UKRO Website Link (CLICK HERE) for more information regarding what Education Workshops are available, the costs and how you can book your place. We look forward to seeing you at the 2017 National Challenge hosted by Humberside FRS.

In addition to the above, the 2017 National Challenge will also provide an opportunity to view the UKRO’s Large Goods Vehicles (LGV)/Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) Rescue Roadshow. This concept will enable any organisation to receive LGV/HGV Rescue input, theory and practical, at their desired location, using a purposely designed vehicle, latest rescue equipment and delivered by UKRO qualified personnel.

Whether you or your organisations need training on LGV/HGV Rescue and/or wish to test the latest rescue equipment, the LGV/HGV Rescue Roadshow will be of benefit to you.

Please contact Pat Sheridan (pat.sheridan@surreycc.gov.uk) should you wish to know when and where the LGV/HGV Rescue Roadshow will be available to view.
