UKRO Challenge 2017 - Humberside Fire and Rescue Service



The UKRO Challenge 2017 will be hosted by Humberside Fire & Rescue Service. Teams will be able to display their skills within the following disciplines: RTC Extrication, Trauma, USAR, Rope and Water Rescue. 

The Challenge will form part of the Hull City of Culture 2017 Events Calendar, across two sites:

supported by Public Safety events at each location.

The Opening Ceremony will be on Thursday 7 September 2017 with Challenge Days being on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September 2017 when the Closing Ceremony will take place. 

 

The entry fees (inclusive of VAT where payable) for the Challenge have been held at the 2016 prices:

 

Extrication - £1,152

Rope - £1,152

Water - £720

USAR - £720

Trauma - £576

 

Due to the success of last year's Early Bird Discount this will be available again for the Challenge and will run from 17 February 2017 until 31 March 2017 at the following reduced prices:

 

Extrication - £1,044

Rope - £1,044

Water - £648

USAR - £648

Trauma - £516

USAR Teams please note that all teams wishing to compete in the 2017 USAR challenge MUST register no later than the 31st March. If there is not a sufficient number of teams registered by this time the USAR challenge may need to be cancelled.

 

Teams should book their own accommodation in Hull City Centre in walking distance from the KCOM Stadium so that vehicles can be parked there for the duration of the Challenge.  See sites such as Trivago and Booking.Com or the usual well known chains directly.‚Äč
