2009 Rescue on the Clyde.

Strathclyde Fire & Rescue has been chosen to host this years high profile event and has branded the challenge as "Rescue on the Clyde". In the main this years event will be hosted at the Glasgow SECC and will run for three days.

Thank you for regularly checking the Rescue on the Clyde
information page for the 2009 challenge, we have now added more
information for you to plan your visit to one of Scotlands finest
cultural cities. (Click the programme of events cover for your copy of the 2009 event programme.)
The Rescue on the Clyde will see the opening ceremony start at the
Scottish Exhibition and Conferencing Centre SECC with an introduction
from the Lord Provost and speeches from Fergus Ewing the Minister for
Community Safety, Dave Webb - Chair of UKRO and Brian Sweeney CFO of
Strathclyde Fire and Rescue.
The evening will see all attending teams register at the SECC where
they will be provided with an information pack and tickets for the
drinks reception before the 7.30pm start. This will be a superb event
for families and friends to enjoy true scottish entertainment and
culture.
After the entertainment packed event, team captains will be asked
to attend the 15 minute briefing which starts at 9.00pm where questions
and timetable confirmations will be discussed. |
